Can't recommend Fayetteville EyeCare Clinic at all. Last time I went they put me in a pair of frames that ended up not fitting (once they had the weight of the lenses), and no way to be adjusted to fit (temple pieces were too short, and they don't make longer ones for that frame). I ended up going to Chitwood Optical and having them make me some lenses for an old pair of frames that fit, and was about $600 in counting my out-of-pocket and insurance for ONE pair of glasses that I can wear. The staff were very excited about how much my insurance pays, not so much about making sure I ended up with something I could use. Anyway, today I let my son go back in for a contact fitting, and they told him that unless he orders contacts through them, our insurance didn't cover the exam. So he paid the total, then later they called him to say they made a mistake and needed to credit him $50. So it might be that they just don't understand our coverage, but how can that be since we have gone there for several years? Frankly, I think they were just trying to trick him into ordering their incredibly marked up lenses. Fortunately, we talked about this before he went, and he didn't fall for it. I'm looking for a good eye care clinic that doesn't just try to max out my insurance coverage, but this isn't the place.
