DETAILS
General Info
This amazing state-of-the-art arena has a rich history behind it. The co-founder of Wal-Mart, Bud Walton, donated $15 million to set-up this arena, and enhance the future of basketball in Arkansas. His efforts bore fruit, when the home team, Razorbacks, won the 1994 Southeastern Conference unbeaten (16-0) on their home ground. It is now an important venue on the Basketball circuit in Arkansas. The Arena also has a museum on the ground floor that pays tribute to the history of basketball, track and field, baseball, and tennis in Arkansas.
