I will never step foot in the business again. I called to see if they could sew some patches on my riding vest for a riding club I had joined with other U.S. Veterans. I was told no problem to bring it in. I left the vest and patches after showing them where I would like to have them placed and was told it would be done before the end of the business day.

Later that day I was called and told that my vest was ready, upon picking it up I noticed that two of the four patches were not centered and crooked, one was at least a 1/4" off. So I pointed out the error to the woman at the front desk and she took the vest back to the person who did the work and came back and told me that they were going to remove the patch and have me place it where I want it.....I replied back to her that I already showed you where I want the patches, I just want them straight, your the professionals, I'm just the customer.

Then I was told that they wouldn't be able to do the repair for a couple of days.....so I then ask to speak to the owner.....the woman took my vest back and came back and told me that the owner would be up front in a minute to talk to me.....about 15 minutes later, the woman went back to see if he was going to talk to me, she comes back with my vest.....all four of my patches removed.....and said the owner told her to give me a refund.....needless to say that I was shocked.

I can only assume that this business doesn't like to have their work questioned.....and if you do question them, they show you the door.....my vest now has hundreds of additional needle holes in it, my time and fuel that I wasted running back and forth.....in todays economy a small Mom and Pop business like this with this kind of customer service won't be around much longer.

And here is the icing on the cake.....the following morning I was called by a person who claimed to be the owner? And he wanted to apologize for the way I was treated.....I was told that it was the owner that treated me badly, the only reason that he called me was because I posted negative feedback on his Facebook Page, which they deleted.....lol

People like this don't deserve my hard earned cash, especially from a VET.

My family has been going to Farmington Shoe Repair for generations. Great service, great people. I always recommend!

Me and my family have been using Farmington Shoe Repair since I was kid. I always like how they are able to fix my shoes while I wait. Never had any problems with their work . I know they have been open for at least 55+years now. That in itself says something.

The owner is not as knowledgeable as one would think. I had pair of new yet broken in redwing boots that had a slight pressure point on the side of my big toe. He said, that they could stretch the whole toebox, I said, that wouldn't be needed just needs stretching on one side. He said he couldn't do it, so, I figured it out myself. On another note,hey re-soled a pair of my older red wing boots and did a very poor job, ugly work, and I don't even care what they look like :((

This place was fabulous. My wife wanted a belt cut and restiched with new holes made on Saturday afternoon and we were able to have it professionally done here in 10 minutes for $10. This place did a fabulous job and we will use them going forward for any leather or shoe repair, they made my wife very happy and were pleasant, reasonably priced and did an outstanding job on the spot.

Sent my boots here through Nordstrom's, got them back & they looked horrible!! Looked like they dyed them & were too rough in the cleaning process! Do not take your Uggs here!!! Nordstrom's was very helpful with the situation!

I had three pairs of Jessica simpson's high heels fixed last week. not only did they not use the right color heels to match the shoes, They had the nerve to change the price when picked my items up. Then they gave me a rediculous fee that I was late to pick them up, Just a couple days then exspected. There lucky they even get a star. UNETHICAL business!

Farmington Shoe Repair has performed heel and sole replacements for mine and my wife's shoes in addition to dye jobs and polishing. They've gained and kept my trust over the past 8 years and I feel they charge a reasonable price for the peace of mind that I have when bringing our shoes to them for work.
