- Dental CareOur state-of-the-art facility is fully equipped with digital radiology technology, allowing us to perform rapid, high quality radiographic studies. We provide immediate results which we share with you both verbally and visually. For those situations where a second opinion is necessary, we have access to board certified radiologists with whom we can consult and obtain results in as quickly as 24 hours. We provide dental radiographs in house to learn about your pets mouth during their dental cleaning for the best possible oral health.
- VaccinationPre-operative Surgery Instructions: You will be asked to provide a proof of current vaccinations, copies of medical records and a list of medications. Any radiographs taken by your Veterinarian may be helpful to review at the initial consult appointment. We require pre-surgical bloodwork and can do this in-house if not done ahead of time by your regular Veterinarian. When possible, we would like all dogs off their NSAIDS such as Rimadyl or Deramaxx, 1-2 days prior to surgery.

- Parasites Treatment and ControlHeartworm can have devastating consequences for your pet, including death. It is especially tragic when dogs and cats succumb to heartworm disease when it’s entirely preventable. Now that warm weather is finally here, your dog or cat has a much greater likelihood of acquiring heartworm just by being outside since the most common route of transmission is a bite from an infected mosquito. - Pain ManagementEqually important is pain management. This starts before pain even begins with our pre-operative administration of pain medication. Pain management continues during surgery with the use of the surgical laser and a variety of other pain management techniques (epidural, nerve blocks and continuous rate infusion of pain medication). After surgery, our patients receive a cold laser therapy treatment which reduces pain and inflammation and speeds up healing. We also realize that pain does not begin and end at the hospital door. To that end, each patient is sent home with medication ensuring their continued comfort throughout their recovery.

Your dog or cat will naturally bite, chew, lick or scratch his skin in response to an irritant. Unfortunately for your pet, this tends to increase rather than decrease his discomfort. Anal gland disease, allergies to fleas or food ingredients, mange, tick bites, and inadequate grooming are the primary causes of hot spots in companion animals. Read More

- Knee Problems TreatmentWe are certified to do both. TPLO is able to correct some of the torsion, steep tibial slopes and patellar issues at the same time as the cruciate repair. TTA provides a slightly quicker return to full walking and can also correct some of the luxating patella cases so in most cases we are recommending the TTA as our first choice. Each case is evaluated individually and the recommendation is based on exam and radiographs. Currently we are doing 49 TTA to every TPLO.

- Periodontal Disease TreatmentHere is a fact we hope you’ll sink your teeth into: preventing periodontal disease (also known as gum disease). By protecting your pet’s dental health, you can extend their life by three years! Along with obesity, dental disease is a leading (and preventable) illness that takes the lives of far too many pets far too early. To make matters even more pressing, over 80% of dogs and 50% of cats over the age of three will develop periodontal disease. Read More
