      Dr. Juan Carlos Mendieta is a Fellowship-trained cardiologist. Dr. Mendieta earned his Doctorate in Medicine (MD) in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Saint Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston and his Cardiology Fellowship at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Mendieta specializes in cardiovascular disease – identification, cardiac testing, prevention, and management—both in hospitalized patients and in the ambulatory office setting. His expertise includes non-invasive cardiac testing, including echocardiography, nuclear stress testing, arrhythmias, valvular disease, and ischemic cardiac disease.
