      Established in 1969, Whaling Manufacturing is one of the distributors of Newport Harbor. The company offers a wide range of outerwear and rainwear products. It provides dress and duty uniforms and career apparel for law enforcement personnel, fire fighters, pilots and other professionals. The company s outerwear product line includes waist-length jackets, hip-length jackets and high-visibility vests. Its rainwear products include lancasters, wool gabardines and reversible raincoats. Additionally, it offers products of style 210PY, 210BL, 211PY, 211BL, 220BL, 226BL, 231, 234, 232, 225BL and 116TP. All its garments incorporate Scotchlite, Thinsulate, Teflon and Supplex techniques. Scotchlite is a reflective safety material made out of glass beads that reflect light. Thinsulate is a kind of insulation, which is made of micro olefin and polyester fibers. It is a breathable material and retains its insulation ability even under damp conditions.
