I found this company on the yellow pages. I had a tight deadline and had lost a few days already due to illness. The inspector was about three hours late to the inspection and was unresponsive when my husband and I called him to ask where he was or if he was still going to make it. When he arrived, he made a rude comment about how some people offer guests chairs when they ask them to remove their shoes. By way of background, the home owners did not permit shoes in the house and asked him to remove his. I thought this was out of place after he had made my husband and I and more importantly the owners of the house wait. After placing the radon detectors in the basement he said he would be back in 48 hours to pick up the detectors. The home owners asked him to return before 9pm and he said he would. He said he would return by 8pm because he preferred earlier hours. The day of the pick up he called me a few minutes before 8pm to let me know he was running late. When he got to the home, the owners had already gone to bed. When I told him I would have appreciated a heads up because (as I had told him when I hired him) the report was due that night. He rudely tried to blame the delays on my husband and I. He said we had waited too long to schedule an inspection. I can understand that, but I hired him with the understanding that he would deliver. My husband and I thought he handled the whole situation very rudely and could have called us a little earlier to let us know that he was not going to make the 8pm. He called us about 15 minutes before 8pm. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Very rude inspector!

They placed the equipment on the weekend and picked it up a few days later in the evening - very cooperative and available 24/7. Very professional. They offer a minimum 48 hour test for real estate transactions or a longer 7 day test when you have more time for no additional cost.
