The company s parent, Curtiss-Wright Corporation, has a long history with its roots dating back to the Wright brothers first flight in 1903. Curtiss-Wright designs, engineers and manufactures actuation components and systems, systems for opening and closing weapons bay doors on fighter aircraft, suspension systems, turret stabilizing and aiming systems, integrated mission management and flight control computers, ammunition handling and fire control systems and perimeter intrusion detection systems. The company also provides flow control systems for naval applications, as well as metal treatment services, such as shot peening, laser peening, heat treating and specialty coating. Curtiss-Wright Corporation is based in Roseland, N.J.
