Operational for more than 50 years, accessAbilities serves individuals with disabilities in Armstrong, Indiana and Westmoreland counties in Pennsylvania. The nonprofit agency s First Steps early intervention program includes basic skill training for children under the age of 3. It offers a range of services that facilitate independent living, including respite and personal care, as well as physical, occupational and speech therapies. The agency provides in-home services for children, adults and seniors with physical and cognitive disabilities. Its part, accessAbilities Foundation, raises funds to support the programs and services of the parent organization. In addition, the agency offers nursing, psychology, social work and nutritional therapy services.
