Driving by the Fred Meyer shopping center at the corner of 132nd St SE and 19th Ave in south Everett, I saw a new banner for "The Best Pupusas." I LOVE PUPUSAS, but haven't had them since I moved from San Francisco. The small, store front location is a bit off the main shopping center. The interior of the restaurant is clean with a spotless viewable kitchen. It is clear that the man and woman running this place are experienced food service folks In one word, the pupusas are GREAT! Each comes with curtido [spicy slaw] and salsa priced at $2.40. They have other menu items, plates, burritos and sides, but I've only had pupusas and the yummy Salvadorian side of rice. I know where I'm eating lunch from now on....
