Long time customer who is tired of the poor attitude by staff in store or when calling with questions. I get the feeling they think they are doing me a favor & are put out. It didn't use to be that way. From reading other reviews, I'm not alone. Will now use many other options available with good information, customer service & respect.

Every time I go to Johns I know I'll find what I'm looking for and at the best price possible. The staff at Johns can answer your questions and help put you into the right gear for the job it's no wonder they have a great following and maintain repeat customers year after year. PMB

been to this place several times, you know - giving it the fair chance. well I'm done with this shop, to bad cuz they do have bout all the tackle you need. but it SUCKS when it comes to customer/friendly help. this is based on plus visits over 3 yrs. I gave 2 stars for supplies.........

It is rare to walk into a commercial establishment as bright, clean, neat, and extremely stocked and be treated as well as I was treated on first visit yesterday. It is even more rare to present your own fly box in order to have the gaps filled in only to be told that you are adequately equipped and require nothing more. It is unheard of to be directed to a local fishing spot other than the one you have chosen and then find that the spot exceeds your expectations. In addition - I am from out of town, visiting Everett on busines. I cannot say enough positive about John and John's Sporting Goods. I will be back, and I will continue to tell my friends and fly fishing acquaintances about John's. It is 5 start plus!

Great selection and service. There's no where else better to get your reels and downriggers serviced or repaired.
