      Second Street Iron and Metal Co., Inc., SSIM, is one of the largest scrap recycling operations in New England. Two locations are able to process and ship materials rapidly and efficiently. Our main facility is located at 285 Second Street in Everett, Massachusetts with a second location at 315 Third Street in Chelsea where we process all unprepared materials.SSIM prides itself on excellent service and prompt payment on all purchased material. With over 100 years experience, SSIM provides all customers with:Roll-Off Container Service - Open-top container service for scrap metal, as well as closed top containers if necessary.Scrap Drop-Off Division - We pay top prices for all types of metals and offer quick in and out scale service. Our state of the art equipment wil allow us to handle your material quickly and safely.Special Needs - Please feel free to call us or stop by with a small sample.
