Dr. Manoj Mehta has been a lifelong Chicagoan. He grew up in the south suburbs and completed his medical school, medical residency, and gastroenterology fellowship at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Lukes Medical Center in Chicago. While most students coveted the private practice residencies, Dr. Mehta elected to do rotations at Cook County Hospital to expand his exposure to various types of pathology.As a University of Chicago faculty member, Dr. Mehta is active in the training and education of resi
