      The Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine provides specialized musculoskeletal care to patients in Oregon. The center provides diagnostic imaging, acupuncture, and massage, physical and occupational therapy services. It maintains an outpatient surgery center, therapy pool and pharmacy. The Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine specializes in handling sports injuries, complex fractures and orthopedic reconstruction procedures. It provides medical equipment, such as orthotics, crutches, wheelchairs and custom braces through Synergy Medical Systems. The center operates a foundation that sponsors annual lectures on orthopedics and sports injuries for primary care physicians. The Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine administers the sports concussion program that serves youths and high school and college athletes.
