Whichever company you choose will need to know if it’s a prom, birthday, anniversary, or other special event, because these sometimes call for different types of fleet vehicles. Some limousine rental companies feature special types of vehicles, like Hummer limousines, Lincoln limousines, stretch limos, SUVs or party buses. And not all limo companies offer the same kind of selection.
Know Your Budget
Price shouldn’t be the deciding factor when you’re looking for limousine rentals, because not all limousine services are the same. Different rates for services equal different levels of service, so if you budget a little more for your limousine rental, you may get to add additional services like a bar, or adding multiple destinations. Most companies offer flat rates, but some offer hourly rates, so make sure you check, and ask about any add ons, like fuel surcharges or other fees not included in the base rates. Some companies add the driver’s tip into the charge, so make sure to ask about that, too.
Choose the Right Vehicle
The right ride can make a big difference when you rent a limo. A stretch limo for the big game or a classic 50s for the big dance can make the day even more special. If you have a large party, make sure the vehicle is big enough for everyone. A good rule of thumb is to make sure the vehicle has space for at least two more people than are in your group. Ask if your vehicle has a CD player or radio so you can bring your own music, and ask about room for all your luggage, too.
