- VeneersA Trial Smile is a way for you to see how proposed porcelain restorations, such as veneers, can change and transform your smile before you commit to the treatment. As is often said, “a picture is worth a thousand words”.
- CrownsThe type of material used for the crown will depend on where the tooth is located in your mouth, the color of the tooth and the amount of natural tooth remaining. A front tooth that affects appearance, for instance, most likely will be restored with a porcelain-fused-to-metal crown. When a back tooth has been badly fractured or decayed, a gold or porcelain-fused-to-metal crown may be used. Your dentist will discuss these options with you.

- DenturesAlthough I received dental care for most of my life, I developed gum issues in my 40′s. After undergoing gum scraping and other procedures, I began to lose gum tissue and as a result had to have my teeth extracted. Wearing dentures and getting used to them was very difficult. There were always spots that rubbed and as a result blisters would form on my gum tissue. Because of all the work done on my gums, there was very little gum area for my dentures to rest on. My physical health began to weaken because I couldn’t eat what I needed or wanted. I would avoid many foods because I knew that my mouth would be sore after eating them.
- Overdentures
- Dental ImplantsPremedication with an antibiotic prior to dental treatment is sometimes necessary for a number of medical conditions including heart, joint replacements (knee, hip, shoulder, etc) implants (breast, etc), some types of chemotherapy treatments for cancer to name a few. These regimens are always changing.
