St. John's Lane Elementary School, established in 1954, is a public school offering educational instruction to students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school has an enrollment of more than 700 students and is a part of the Howard County Public School District. It offers various special programs, including alternative education, character in action, early success, math engineering and science achievement, reading recovery and options reading program. The school also provides special education to students with special needs. Its cafeteria serves free and reduced-price lunch meals for eligible students. The school highlights students accomplishments through quarterly recognition assemblies.
