Provided by YP.comIn 2011, I dropped my Sony Cyber-Shot digital camera. As a result, the lens would not extend when I turned it on. There was no one in my city that fixed digital cameras, not even Wolf. I used UnitedCamera. They fixed it four years ago, and it still works great. I highly reconmmend them.

Provided by DexKnowsThis will now be my third trip to United Camera & Repair, all 3 Kodak cameras. First I sent a Z760 (Sept 2006) in for pictures with pinkish glare of pictures and was returned, and a week after had to send it back for the same thing. Marked my camera to see if work was done with a mark near serial number after second trip got a refurbished camera. No explanation as to why...was under warranty.. Feb 2012, sent son's C195 in for a few problems was sent back in a relatively short period of time and 2 weeks later was returned again for the same thing,. His camera was repaired and sent back with a crak in the preview screen. Was doneduring repair and they wouldnt make good on it because we couldnt get a repair service set up before warranty run out. Now sending a Kodak Z5010, (July2012) and needs service,,,orange dot appearing in the preview screen and fades as the shutter button is pushed in and the pictures come back with the orange spot in the picture or picturres are blurred. Have second thought about doing this again, but wal-Mart extendedwarranty wont pick up until the 12 month warranty kodak gave me has expired,,That will be next July. This one too will be marked, I want my camera worked on and fixed and if it can't be fixed want an upgraded cara since Kodak no longer makes cameras. I dont want some one elses headaches and I dint pay for a refurbished camera and dont want one back,,This camera will be 2 mionths old in september. I didnt buy a refurbished camera and dont want one back. Hope your work is done well enough the first time, I get the camera back I purchased and that itdoesnt have to go back for repair. I just dont like this idea and that Kodak doesnt even do their own work......instead of using a third part company

Provided by DexKnowsI sent in a dslr for stuck shutter in april 2011, it was returned after big $ in aug, 2011. used it in house for 2 and 1/2 mon. shutter stuck again. Returned it under warranty, in Nov. now 4 mons. later United camera wants more $ saying it is not under warranty. Paid way too much for 8 months missing camera, no repair and no warranty. Save your money and your time don't use this company.

Provided by DexKnowsI bought a new kodak easy share in november. The lense wouldn't close in april. Wouldn't turn on or off.Sent it in and got it back in a couple weeks. Worked fine for 5 pictures. Same malfunction. Called them and kodak and explained the situation. They said they would fix it again. Kodak told me if it would not work, they will replace it. Received camera today, it lasted about 10 pictures. Called united. They said on the receipt that there was damage to the camera when they recieved it. There is not a scratch on itTotally false. Called Kodak, they believed what united said and would not replace camera. United lied big time and kodak would not listen to reason. Will never use this worthless and unprofessional service again and will never buy another kodak product.

Provided by DexKnowsI sent my camera to the company it was made by for repair. the price they wanted was almost enough to get a new one, so I ask for it to be returned. after several phone calls, almost a month later I did get it back. I then sent it to United Camera. 7 days later and many dollars saved I had it back , and couldn't be happier. now that is what I call a Great Company to do business with. next time I will know where to go , and so will my friends...Thank you United.nancy Berryhill

Provided by DexKnowsI was dreading my camera repair. I did not have a choice on what company to use because of my warranty. I called the warranty number and followed the directions. Add to this a very large dash of desperation because I broke my very high tech camera before leaving on a family vacation to Disney. I ran to FedEx and sent my camera to United Camera on 12/14. I asked them to see what they could do. Imagine my surprise when my camera arrived at my door on 12/15. I will tell everyone I know that might need such services they would be foolish to go elsewhere.

Provided by DexKnowsI was so impressed with the service United Camera gives. I was totally prepared for someone to call me and tell me our quote was too low. Just the opposite. They called me immediately and told me it could be repaired for the quoted amount. I sure would recommend them.

You do exactly what you say you are going to do and more and when you say you are going to do it or sooner. Our greatest fear was being hit with additional costs but you fixed if for exactly what you quoted up front. Most of all, we appreciate you keeping us informed throughout the process. 2/4/2010About a month ago I took my Kodak camera to United Camera for repair because the snap button would not work. They said I could have one hour service, which surprised me at the quickness of service. When they finished the repair not only was the repair done PERFECTLY but they did about 16 other checks and upgrades on the camera, it looked like it was brand new when they finished. Also they installed the latest software that Kodak had. And the repair price was 1/2 of what I expected to pay. The girls in the reception area were very friendly and helpful. Provided by DexKnowsMany times nowdays it seems when something breaks, it's easier to throw it away and buy a new one. That's what I was going to do but just for the heck of it I googled "camera repair" and first on the list was United Camera. To make a long story short they fixed my $300 camera for $45 in record time and the camera works great! It is once again valuable to us. To top that, it came one day before we had enough snow to keep us out of school for 3 days. I will recommend United to my friends and will use them again myself.

Provided by DexKnowsUnited Camera & Binocular repaired my favorite camera. They sent me a email of confirmation of the camera's arrival and estimated 48 hour turn around. They did a great job. They replaced motor of the lens and reset and cleaned it. It works wonderfully. I'm very happy with their service.

Provided by DexKnowsI would recommend United Camera to anyone wanting their camera repaired. The shipping was excellent. They have 2 different ways that I could send it. I choose to pay them what they were asking (for shipping both ways) because you couldn't send your camera there and back for any less then what they asked for AND....they sent the box and materials to ship right down to the tape! Shipping along with the repair time was within 5-7 days. Which is excellent.My camera works very well and there was an explanation of repair included in the return. I also like the idea of the 90 day Warranty. Thank you United Camera!

I do not recommend this company for repairing a Kodak camera under warranty. They use the lose defintion regarding the warranty to decide that something is not repairable under the warranty when they want to make a few extra bucks. The repair costs for a camera out of warranty are almost the cost of the camera. While they do warranty their own work they don't offer more than 30 days. I was also not impressed with the customer service they offered. I spoke with several representatives and none of them could properly answer my question. The customer service manager had no people skills when I spoke with her and was the rudest of them all. Kodak has been of no help regarding this, stating the company has the final say as their representative so I went to have a tech show me the damage on the camera. First they couldn't find my camera and then there was suddenly no damage! They fixed it under warranty but I will never use them again.
