      Located in a beautiful wooded area and is just 3 years old. Has very neat, clean areas for dogs to play and stay. The staff is excellent and kind. Love the overnight accommadations and prices are very reasonable. I use to take my dog for 1/2 a day to get socialized.She comes back home ready for a nap. She's 7 months old.

      As animal lovers, we fully understand that our dogs are so much more than simply pets. They are our best friends, our companions and confidants, and they are members of the family. We also understand their need for attention, training, exercise and mental stimulation each and every day. These are all very necessary in order to have a well-balanced and happy pup. For dedicated dog owners, leaving your furry family member in the care of others is never a decision to be made lightly. Our dogs fall into a routine just as we humans do. When that routine changes, they are confused. The stress of our daily lives also greatly affects our dogs. At Playful Pups Retreat we work hard to provide a stable environment for your beloved dog. If you are packing for a vacation or business trip, or someone in the home is ill, your dog will sense your emotions and stress. If a pet's exercise routine changes for these reasons, even inclement weather, you may notice behavior changes in your dog.

      Doggie Day Care- Dogs are pack animals. We believe they are at their happiest when they are socializing with other dogs. Boredom and excess energy lead to destructive behaviors such as chewing, licking, digging and barking. Each daycare experience at Playful Pups Retreat includes social interaction, mental stimulation, play, daily naps and quiet time. Playing and socializing will make your dog a happier and better behaved pet. Overnight Lodging: At Playful Pups Retreat, dogs spend the night in a private room with top-notch amenities. If you have more than one dog they can share a room at discounted rates. All of the dogs in our care receive individualized attention from our staff during their sleepovers. Training: This class is for young puppy's age 12 weeks to 6 months. This is the perfect time to teach the fundamentals, build confidence and socialize with other dogs and a variety of humans. Puppy Manners Class is every Saturday morning for six weeks * Grooming * Gifts
