We offer a wide range of constructive programs, including individual counseling. Our individual counselors at The Abacus Program have advanced degrees and many years of experience in the mental health and addictions field. All counselors are certified in their specialty areas and licensed in Illinois as Professional Counselors and Social Workers. They utilize a cognitive behavioral approach that has helped many people overcome their problems and learn to feel the way they want and to live a healthy, happy life, no matter what! Our counselors utilize strong professional ethics in providing professional, confidential counseling assistance in an accepting non-judgmental atmosphere. Areas of specialization include: ? Depression, grief and loss ? Stress and anxiety ? Relationship problems ? Trauma ? Self esteem ? Men?s issues ? Alcohol and drug problems ? Anger management issues We also offer complete alcohol and drug evaluations, as we assist you on your track back to becoming sober. Some of our programs include a Saturday risk education and treatment group, an outpatient treatment program, Secretary of State evaluations and other court evaluations.
