Established in 1913, Hydrox Laboratories is one of the oldest manufacturers and suppliers of health and beauty care products in the United States. Based in Elgin, Ill., the firm manufactures a variety of products, such as mouthwashes, deodorants, hydrogen peroxide solutions, isopropyl rubbing alcohols, hair developers, lotions, moisturizers, shampoos, conditioners, soaps and hand sanitizers. Its products are available in more than 3,500 retail establishments and in over 5,000 hospitals across the United States. Hydrox Laboratories is the United States patent originator of hydrogen peroxide solution. It is a minority-owned business (MBE) and National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) certified firm.
