      General Info
      The Egyptian Health Department, located in Eldorado, Ill., provides health care services to patients suffering from mental health and behavioral disorders. It provides basic resources, support services and specialized programs to individuals and families in Saline, Gallatin and White counties in Illinois. The department provides various behavioral health services, such as crisis intervention, psychiatric evaluation and assessment and 24-hour counseling services with the aid of professional and trained counselors and psychiatrics. Additionally, it organizes individual and group counseling sessions and provides case and money management, referral services and advocacy programs for individuals suffering from alcohol addictions and substance abuse. The Egyptian Health Department also provides screening services, respite care, mentoring and rehabilitation therapies for children with mental health disorders. The department additionally emphasizes on family reunion and provides educational support and spiritual services to children with behavioral disorders. It also provides education on mental illnesses and family planning, blood pressure screenings, immunization schedules, and HIV and AIDS education.
