The Body Shop is a "preferred" shop according Allstate which is why I chose this shop. I would be careful choosing them as timeline for repairs and communication with customers is poor. In addition, they placed a bumper on my car that was charged to my insurance as a "new" part from an after market dealer the shop uses. When my car was "ready" they then found a crack in the bumper. They said they would have to take the bumper down, repair it, then put the piece back on the vehicle. I immediately questioned him about putting a damaged and repaired part on my car when my insurance paid for a new part. He stated that sometimes the parts come defective and must be repaired. I then stated to him that if the part was defective it should have been returned by the body shop for a new undamaged part. I mentioned that I was calling my insurance to report that they were trying to put a damaged part on my car when the insurance paid for a new part. I questioned the shop and asked if placing damaged and repaired parts on vehicles when insurance pays for new parts is something they do frequently. He then said they would go ahead and order a new bumper. I felt this was poor customer service and poor integrity on their part considering they were on the "preferred" list from my insurance carrier. I looked at reviews online to find that another customer had a similar complaint with this body shop. If you choose this shop, be careful about what parts and what "new" damage and charges are added to the vehicle as my repair ended up being four times the repair estimate my insurance company gave when they initially saw my vehicle. When I picked up my vehicle there was already a scratch on my "new and freshly painted" bumper. I had seriously had enough and didn't want the headache of dealing with a scratch on a vehicle that should have a new part and new paint. They were quick to charge the ENTIRE deductible and I was QUICK to grab my keys and just get out of there.
