      General Info
      The Texas Health and Human Services Commission offers system planning, evaluation, disaster assistance and long-term care services. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, the department has a staff of more than 9,000 employees. The Texas Health and Human Services Commission also provides a health program for low-income women that includes gynecological examinations and health screening services.
