Our children’s diabetes program, part of Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital, works with hundreds of children and their families each year, teaching crucial self-care behaviors. Our pediatric endocrinology specialists are experts who studied and worked at major children’s hospitals before moving to the Lehigh Valley region. We get to know you and your child on a personal level, fostering an ongoing relationship built on trust that lasts a lifetime. The conditions we treat include: -Type 1 and type 2 diabetes, as well as diabetes-related complications such as hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) -Adrenal, pituitary and thyroid gland disorders, such as Cushing’s syndrome -Growth problems caused by nutrition imbalances, genetic disorders or other causes -Obesity You can expect highly trained professionals, personalized care plans, education, support and a comprehensive diabetes program. Convenient appointments are available, so you won’t have to travel away from home to get for your child the care he or she needs.
