Talbot County Emergency Medical Services is a part of the Public Safety department, which is administered by the Talbot County Government. Talbot County Emergency Medical Services works to provide prehospital emergency care solutions to the residents and visitors of Talbot County in Maryland. The department has a staff of more than 50 full- and part-time individuals. It also offers support services related to rescue and fire emergencies. The department maintains a fleet of chase vehicles and hazardous material units. In addition, Talbot County Emergency Medical Services provides the Ride Along Program, which allows individuals to accompany ambulance crews, as well as offers support solutions to sick and injured people.
