- Dental ExaminationIt is recommended that if you are a new patient or have not seen a dentist in several years to have a comprehensive exam and a full mouth set of x-rays first to determine what further treatment needs to be done.
- X-raysYour comprehensive oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which could include the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth, full mouth xrays or bite-wing x-rays for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.
- Teeth CleaningTeeth cleaning is the removal of dental plaque from teeth, to prevent cavities (dental caries), gingivitis, and periodontitis. It is part of a complete program of oral hygiene.

- Fillings
- Resin CompositeBonding is more susceptible to staining or chipping than other forms of restoration such as veneers. When teeth are chipped or slightly decayed, bonded composite resins may be the material of choice. Bonding also is used as a tooth-colored filling for small cavities and broken or chipped surfaces.
- VeneersCrowns are sometimes confused with veneers, but they are quite different. Veneers are typically applied only to relatively small areas.
- CrownsIn addition, bonding can be used to close spaces between teeth or cover the entire outside surface of a tooth to change its color and shape. Crowns, also known as caps, are used in cases where other procedures will not be effective. Crowns have the longest life expectancy of all cosmetic restorations, but are the most time consuming. Tooth-colored fillings have become more popular over the years.
- BridgesBridges are natural-looking dental appliances that can replace a section of missing teeth. Because they are custom-made, bridges are barely noticeable and can restore the natural contour of teeth as well as the proper bite relationship between upper and lower teeth.
- Dental BondingWhitening agents actually change the color of your teeth, but only are effective on certain types of stains. For example, bleaching agents have a difficult time removing brownish or grayish stains. These products also are not as effective on pitted or badly discolored teeth, or on restorations such as crowns, bridges, bonding and tooth-colored fillings (porcelain veneers or dental bonding may be more appropriate in this case).
- Root Canal TreatmentRoot canals are tiny passageways that branch off from beneath the top of the tooth, coursing their way vertically downward, until they reach the tip of the root.
- DenturesConventional dentures are those that are placed once the bones and gums have healed after the removal of natural teeth. While there is a waiting period that can be frustrating, the dentures normally fit right the first time, since the new shape of the mouth and gums has been established. Conventional dentures are also the most affordable dentures option.
- Dental ImplantsHowever, some medical circumstances - including radiation therapy in the mouth area, and diseases such as diabetes -- lower the success rate for implant dentistry. For that reason, patients must undergo a rigorous screening process before they may proceed with implant dentistry.
