Provided by YP.comWent to pick up my dog, a shih tzu from boarding yesterday. On our way out of the vet's office she was attacked by a large dog that was loose in the office, a believe it was a boxer. He grabbed her by the neck, my husband pulled him out, getting bitten in the process, but he came back for more and grabbed her hind.
My husband had to go to the urgent care for the bites in his hands. Several staff in the office, not one had a taser or something to helps us. Not one doctor had the decency to come out and talk to us.
They refused to give us the owner's name and when I asked for a report, they wrote that it was a dog fight in the lobby. An unleashed boxer vs. a 17 pounds dog on a a leash!
East Greenbush Animal Hospital doesn't know how to act on an emergency and they should be ashamed of their doctors! If you insist on bringing your pet here, bring a weapon because his/her live is in your hands!

Provided by YPmobileI have been a client at East Greenbush animal hospital for several years now I have 5 dogs and 3 cats .all the doctors and staff truly understand how your animals are part of your family. They are such great people and very fair about there prices.about 2 years ago my friends house burnt to the ground. She became a single mother of 3 young children. There father and all the there animals but 2 past away in that fire.there dog Lucy was burned near death and these vets an staff worked around the clock for about 6 weeks to save Lucy's life and they did. That vet bill was probably around $7,000 and they waved the whole bill and donated $2,500 to my friend .Now this is a true caring veterinary thanks so much E.G.A.H.

Provided by YP.comOur cat was suddenly gravely ill and suffering. I was trying to do the right thing to stop her suffering by having her euthanized. In these tough times i am currently unemployed. Although the staff was extremely pleasant and sympathetic, i was still charged a devastating amount considering my finances. I didn't expect to pay nothing, but under the circumstances i would have expected a little more HUMANITY. I am extremely disappointed.
