On Thursday, Dec. 29 at appx. 5:30am, I purchased gas with a credit card.. 'pay at the pump'. The window told me I had to get the receipt inside. (Out of receipt tape?) The convenience of paying at the pump includes getting a receipt at the pump. It has happened 3 times, & when it does, I buy gas across the street for 3 months. (Kind of a, penalty, though my loyalty has been to Always Open since it opened.) I went inside, told the man at the counter that when I have to come inside to get a receipt, I stay away for 3 months. His reply, which I couldn't believe, was, "Well, guess we won't see you then." Exactly his words. I said, "Are you kidding?" He said that is a day time responsibility and not his fault.I can count on 1 half of 1 hand, the complaint letters I have have written in my entire life. But when he responded in that way, I was amazed that someone could be so careless. I was matter-of-fact when I told him, not terse or condescending. He has a problem.
