I've been using Parrott's Automotive for over four years for breaks, tires, and other stuff. They have very reasonable rates, work in a timely manner, and are very polite. I would highly recommend them to friends and family.

I have used this place ever since I was 16. You are so wrong about them! They do all their work in a timely professional manner. They work with people on prices and only do the work that is requested. Good thing most of Durham, NC use them and do not listen to liars like you!

Simply the best shop in town. I've been dealing with Parrott's Automotive for the last 3 years, and I've always received great service. When I've taken my cars in for problems, my diagnosis has always been explained, as well as my options. Parrott's Automotive has been able to get to the bottom of and fix things that other shops have been unable to. I'm so glad I found them. They have a way of making things easy to understand for those of us who aren't mechanically inclined, and, if in the process of repair, something else is discovered that needs attention in order to correct my problem, they have always called me to advise and get permission before proceeding. They've never tried to tack on unnecessary work. They've also helped me by giving me a ride back to work when I've dropped my car off. And if I'm ever not 100% satisfied, or if a re-adjustment has ever needed to be made, they have always been willing to make things right - cars can be crazy sometimes. This is a very honest shop to do business with - Greg is the best and has a great reputation in Durham as one of the best mechanics. You just can't ask for more in an auto shop. I have a huge amount of respect for these guys and their honesty, and I highly recommend this company.

I will never go back here again. They did not explain the problem and options complely/correctly. They then did unauthorized work and demanded payment. I do not do business or reccomend doing business with any one who acts like this.
