The United campground is a fairly large and modern campground. It has good wifi and pleasant restrooms. The location is on the Animas 5 minutes north of Durango. There is a city bus that can take you downtown from the site. It is very quiet and safe in all regards but is not a real nature place. I wish they would open in the winter .
