I had some issues late on a Saturday afternoon...My car limped into their parking lot and it was obvious they were getting ready to close for the day. They were nice enough to talk to me and take a quick look at the problem. Gave me a lift home and finished the work on my car in a timely manner. It took a little longer because I requested they use a used part to fix it rather a new one which they had on hand. They washed the vehicle for me and gave me a 90 day guarantee on the used part. I know that isn't a long time, but they didn't really have to go that far in the first place. I felt like they were fair and very helpful. I have recommended the place to several people and have heard no complaints. I feel like the guys who work here are good guys.

These guys will beat anybody price and service. They wash cars for free after the service and where honest. Give them a try!!

I went here after reading these reviews and I have to wonder if these people are talking about the same business? I had a wonderful experience here and the beat the competitor price without a estimate . I found them to be honest ,fair and I will be going back and telling all my friends!!!

DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN!! A CROOK OF THE WORST CALIBER. I bought a car from the owner so I could get back to Michigan. The owner, Jed Carlson, told me would send title to me. That was at the beginning of March. Despite me calling constantly he has not sent title so I called the DMV of MN and was told that he sold me a car that did not belong to him and that there is a lien on the car. I have called over ten times and all he does is lie. Tries to tell me he sent it, the DMV is too busy, then that he sent it again, that he would send proof, etc. All lies, over and over again. DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY. I REPEAT, DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY. A LIAR AND A THIEF. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!!

Do not enjoy writing a bad review but this one warranted it. My vehicle was damaged by the owner of Everything Automotive while i was a paying customer. I got a $1000 estimate for repair. Owner denied causing the damage but promised to fix nonetheless. After many not returned phone calls and not kept promises my truck is still not fixed. Poorly run business with a crook for an owner. Stay away from them.

The boys at Everything Automotive have always been so nice and helpful to me. I receive wondeful service everytime and they are always open, honest and diligent with their work. The best part is, after I've had stuff fixed I never have problems with it again, which is essentially what you look for in a shop. I've been other places in Duluth before I came here, but since I did 3 years ago I wouldn't go anywhere else. Best shop in the Twin ports. Keep it up guys!

These are the rudest people I have EVER had to deal with!!! I call up there & they ASSUME I'm someone else. Then don't apologize for basically accusing me of wasting their time. They FINALLY get my part in.. (transmission)... Over 2wks later. It's the Tuesday a week before memorial day, & apparently the whole freaking shop is taking the next week, through NEXT tuesday off... For the holiday... Wth? When I express my unhappiness with this response.. (Mind you this is going on almost 3 weeks now, with out my van & they dont have loaners...) I am told that its not their fault. Super snotty. Super rude! I'm in customer service myself & that kind of attitude would have LONG gotten me fired!!! Never will I EVER go to this establishment again!!! They won't be starting the work on my van until next Wednesday or Thursday.. Hopefully get it bck nxt Friday going on a MONTH after I brought it to them!!!  This is getting reported to the BBB stat!!!!

I am absolutely BLOWN AWAY that people had negative things to say about this shop. I have been taking my car to them for years, so I'll tell you what this shop is REALLY like. I'm a broke college student, so they have always helped me to get the best deals in the following ways: -they have a AAA discount -they have a student discount -they shop around for the best priced parts to save money (in one instance, they talked to a car electronics place for me and got a huge discount on the parts/labor) -they have done some labor/parts for free because I've needed such major repairs and spent a ridiculous amount of money to keep my car running.

Furthermore, they have helped me out of so many scrapes with my old, crappy car. The car I used to have broke down all the time. My car broke down on Hwy 35 and I managed to get it to a gas station 30-40 miles away from Duluth. I called them as soon as they opened and they drove all the way to the gas station to pick it up for me and didn't charge me for it, even though AAA said they wouldn't cover it. My car broke down on my way to school and they drove down and brought it back to their shop and fixed it while I was at class all day. They didn't charge me for that tow, either.

I have gone to them for everything from oil changes to replacing structural things with my car and they have always pulled through for me.

They have NEVER stolen anything from me, even when I have left valuables in my car. They have always gone above and beyond in every aspect to make sure I have the best possible experience with their shop and with their towing service.

Everything Automotive performed a routine oil change on my car. Then, when my drain plug fell out causing my oil to drain out which resulted in the engine overheating and burning a hole through the engine, they wanted nothing to do with me. I called and explained my situation and rather than explaining to me why the problem was not their fault, (which my other mechanic assured me it was) the manager yelled at me for twenty minutes. He wanted nothing to do with me and was exceptionally rude. Instead of behaving professionally and looking at the problem objectively, all he was concerned about was distancing my problem from his shop. NOT a quality I look for in a mechanic. If I could give negative stars I would. I have dealt with MANY mechanics and this shop was by FAR the worst. Please, for the sake of your car, avoid Everything Automotive at all costs.
