Dealing with the unqualified staff has made my encounter at Children's Choice an unforgettable experience. I would never choose this business for my children. Most of the nurses should take some time to fully understand the simple State and Federal laws while working in the medical department.

My daughter is a patient. I cannot find anything bad to say about them. From the front desk to doctors we are greeted and treated professionally. She has seen both doctors and the nurse practitioner. The nurse practitioner has went above and beyond any doctor duty to get our daughter well. We would recommend their services for your children.

They are always very respectful and willing to see your child. When you do visit they will not just tell you that your child has a virus and send you home. They will actually run some test and try to get an accurate diagnosis. I have read some of the other reviews and they are not accurate. They are some of the best doctors in the New River Valley!!

I agree that they are not completely centered on the children, they are more interested in how they are going to get paid and who is paying them. I had a question about a bill that unfortunately I had to pay out of pocket for and no one wanted to hear my concern and I was simply told in a rude manner "Well that's just how it is." At this point I feel this facility is all about money and that's it, my son is more important then a little piece of green paper with a dead president on it so at this time, I found another doctor in the area. I certainly regret picking Children's Choice.

Dr Gehrz is an excellent doctor but there are some issues with the staff as they are not inclined to treat people with respect...that is a major problem. Also, don't count on actually seeing one of the physicians as you will likely get the Nurse Practitioner....she is good but not the same.

I have never met a more dedicated doctor than Dr. Ghertz. He has been absolutely wonderful with our children and has gone above and beyond the normal "doctor" call of duty. My husband and I both feel confident that we have made the right choice for our children. We are new to the area and very concerned about leaving our childrens past physcian but have perfect peace of mind.

they are not child centered, insurance cards are more important that a childs right to be seen.
