Animal parts being played with as jokes? What conduct and biohazard guidelines do these violate? Not to mention basic decency and respect for animals??? Boycott this animal clinic in Dublin GA. These photos are animal uteruses, heart, and other parts. Disgusting.

Beware

I brought my baby in Friday after he had been hit by a car. Dr. Potts then advised me after laughing at me saying its just a leg that my dogs leg needed to be amputated or have a stint put on. I asked her what she thought was best and a price on both. It was very obvious from the way she was acting she was determined to amputate. I was in a state of shock! Rusty was more then just A DOG to my family! I stood there crying my eyes out in the middle of there office. They didn't put us in a private room , offer a tissue or even a Im so sorry! They already had Rusty out for his X-rays and with the bill quickly rising ( we were at over $300 at this point) I had a few minutes to make up my mind. I decided to go with the amputation. I called to check on Rusty at around 2:00 and was told he was just waking up from surgery and that he could be picked up after 4:00!!! I couldnt believe they were sending him home. When I picked him up they gave me a prescription for Rimadyl told me to keep his leg clean and sent him home. I was so worried I kept saying are you sure he's going to be ok. They reassured me that this was a simple surgery and he would be back to his old self in a week. The first night was horrible. He moaned and whimpered all night. I then called Dr. Potts crying my eyes out begging for her to give him something to ease his pain. She told me that the Rimadyl would be fine. Trusting she knew better then me I gave it a few more hrs. Then I called two more on call vets and they both were shocked that he wasn't kept for atleast one night if not more. And both informed me he should have been put on antibiotics as well as a stronger pain meds. The next morning I called her first thing and she did give me something stronger for the pain and told me that this is a process and that he will heal. Well night two he started eating so I was thinking things were looking up but by Sunday he was not eating and seemed to be in bad shape. I was worried I was about to lose him. This morning he got up to go use the bathroom and when I picked him up to bring him back inside his leg exploded with infection. The worst smell I have ever smelt! I rushed him to another highly recommended Veterinarian and they are keeping him for a few days and started him on a strong dose of antibiotics and pain meds. I feel confident that Rusty is in good hands now. And I'm even more confident that he would have died under Dr. Potts care. My bill came out to $770.67 for them to butcher my dog! They took a payment for half and held a check for the other half. Im sure they will still cash my check but I don't feel that they earned it. Being Im sure I will have a much higher bill now that he's being hospitalized by a more exsprienced Veterinarian

I took my dachshund puppy in that was sick. They said she had parvovirus and there was nothing to do except force fluids and sent her home. I didn't believe this diagnosis so I took her straight to someone else. Turns out she had pneumonia, they started IV fluids and antibiotics, kept her overnight. If I would have listened to them she would have been dead by morning.

My dog received 2nd degree burns during surgery to have her spayed. This clinic uses a "warming blanket" to keep the animals warm during surgery which can have hot spots and lead to burns if not monitored correctly. The doctor refused to admit the mistake or take any responsibility for it. Given this, I highly doubt any corrective measures have been put in place to prevent it from happening to another animal. Thankfully my pet is now being treated by a knowledgeable and caring doctor elsewhere.
