The Manager was very helpful. I went to purchase a battery and Alfonso took the time to check and to make sure I needed a battery. Good customer service.

Worse people skills. Needs to treat customers like customers and not like what the hell are you here for. Needs knowledgeable and professional staff. taking my business elsewhere.

Autozone location on South Oates St. is not a customer oriented store by any means. The biggest deal breaker is how snobby the staff is, and how good they are at making you feel as though you are an inconvenience for them to have to stop their conversation and help you out with a part you need to buy. I hate to say this, but most of the crew that I had the priviledge of interracting with didn't have much mechanical knowledge. You know what though, I don't mind if someone doesn't know what they are talking about, I mean c'mon everyday we meet somebody whose mouth overshoots any real talent that they may have with the smell of poop. It's when I know what needs to be done and the autozone guy insist on disagreeing with me on the subject that they SHOULD know,but DONT know anything about. I would easily dismiss it if they were hiring teenagers and 21 year olds.(Like Advanced Auto Parts) That comes with the territory of being young and dumb, and also having the world figured out. I finally ended up taking my business to O'Reillys, at least I do get some respect as a customer even if no matter how much you know your car inside out, these auto parts kids have to try and "big boy" you so they can sleep at night. There just isn't any customer service, respect, or trying to earn your dollar over the competition anymore.
