Established in 1999 with the merger of Grace Hospital and Sinai Hospital, DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital offers personal care and advanced medical treatment services. Located in Detroit, it is comprised of more than 800 physicians in over 40 specialty areas who work with nearly 700 nurses and approximately 1,800 support staff. The hospital provides advanced training to more than 200 students and resident physicians in a variety of medical and surgical specialties. DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital offers services related to audiology, cancer, cardiology, cosmetic, plastic surgery, dermatology, diabetes, endocrinology, gastroenterology and infectious diseases. It also handles cases related to oncology and hematology, ophthalmology, psychiatry, radiology, rheumatology and sleep disorders. The hospital additionally offers a range of outpatient and spiritual care services. DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital is a part of Detroit Medical Center, which is one of the leading health care providers in southeast Michigan and has over 2,000 licensed beds and nearly 3,000 affiliated physicians.
