Came from East Texas to Detroit for a few days on business. We love the show & had to experience it firsthand. We were not inside the store for 5 MIN & witnessed 2 "incidents". Seth, Bubbles & Bobby J were awesome, got some great jewelry at a great price. Too bad I don't need a mink in the Texas heat or I would have bought one there, great selection. Love the show.

Love your show Les and the rest of the gang. I know from experience dealing with people is very hard. One time my boss told me to handle a particular customer, as I could deal with him better than he would. I love the way Les deals with people, he is real cool. I even watch reruns just to see Les, don't get me wrong, I think you all do a super job......Faithful watcher from Minnesota

I have to admit I am addicted to the show as I can't believe some of the stuff that really happens with those customers and the owners. At times it is so unbelievable I think it's all staged. Anyway, I would neva do business with that place myself as Les insultingly lowballs everything people bring in yet asks top dollar for the stuff he's trying to sell. Sure, it's all about business and making a profit, however his place is in the heart of a very destitute area with high unemployment and many of the people who come in are desperate and he seems to take advantage of that fact.
I have never been there personally; would love to go and meet the owners. Love your show. Watch it faithfully. My boyfriend and I own a pawn shop in Marmet, WV and learn alot from you. It is a very difficult business to be in that is for sure and you definitely have to be a people person. Good luck in the future!

I can't speak about the shop because I've never been there, although I would like to check it out to see what they have for acoustic guitars. However, regarding the TV show..... It's pathetic, at best. It depicts the people of Detroit as extreme ghetto. The shows embarassing to watch! I cringe when watching it.
