- Dental ExaminationWhile home maintenance is essential, regular cleanings and examinations are necessary to maintain a healthy mouth. A professional cleaning will remove plaque and tartar. Tartar is plaque that has hardened and can be above or below the gum line. Your teeth will also be polished which removes plaque and stain.
- X-raysA full mouth series of dental x-rays is recommended for new patients. We do use digital x-rays. The full series is usually good for 3 - 5 years. This will allow us to check all your teeth for decay, bone loss, tumors, cysts or any other anomalies.

- Root Canal TreatmentMost of the time, a root canal is a relatively simple procedure with little or no discomfort involving one to three visits. Best of all, it can save your tooth and your smile! Click here for more information.
- DenturesAn important step in maintaining a healthy smile is to replace missing teeth. When teeth are missing, the remaining ones can change position, drifting into the surrounding space. Â In addition, it may be difficult to clean between crooked teeth. As a result, you run the risk of tooth decay and gum disease, which can lead to the loss of additional teeth. A denture or partial denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth.
- Dental ImplantsToday’s treatment of choice for replacing teeth is the dental implant. A dental implant replaces a missing tooth with a titanium root. A crown is then placed on top of the root. Your dentist will help you determine if you are a good candidate for implants. For more information, visit perio.org.
