      General Info
      I am passionate in my work with individuals, couples, and families. I specialize in eating disorder recovery, relationship difficulties, life cycle transitions, family of origin work, addiction, trauma, parenting skills, anger management, and other areas. I take an approach of unconditional positive regard, honesty, and curiosity in my practice and hold the highest hope for each of my clients. I use techniques from psychodynamic theory such as focusing on drives and instincts, and I use techniques from postmodern approaches such as narrative therapy, where we can write a new story for your life. I welcome clients of all backgrounds!I focus on bringing out the strengths of each of my clients. In my work with individuals affected by eating disorders, I empathize with my clients and empower them to take courageous steps towards recovery while working on underlying issues. In family work, connections between members are brought to light.I bring a personal approach to my practice, as I have experienced the benefits of psychotherapy in my own life. I treat each client with respect and challenge them to accomplish their goals because I have faith in them. The therapeutic relationship is the key to healing and change!
