Denver Kids, Inc. is an educational counseling program for students in Denver Public Schools who live in higher risk environments. All students are matched with an educational counselor and about 1/3 are matched with a mentor (the number of mentor matches is based on the number of volunteers in the community who are able to commit to serving as role model for at least one year). With a graduation rate of 90% (compared to around 50% throughout the rest of DPS), Denver Kids, Inc. is producing amazing results in an efficient manner.
