Agreed, the dental plan is very affordable and provides excellent discounts. I signed up online and saved 1/2 off the normal fees for my checkup, x-rays and getting my cavity filled. The dentist was friendly and they didn't even use anesthetic because they had some air thing that did it painlessly. I'd recommend this plan to anyone!

I purchased Beta Dental Supplement thinking I was getting an insurance supplement. I have medicare and it doesn't cover dental services. I went to the Dentist and was told I needed a cap put on my tooth as it had been filled in the past and the filling doesn't stay in. It was going to cost me over 1000. out of pocket and up front, with this supplement. I went today to get my teeth cleaned and they did a cost write up for me with my Beta supplement and it was going to cost me 700. out of pocket starting with a 233. out of pocket charge to get started. Yikes.... I was better off going to a state run facility to have my dental work done.. I sure can't afford to have things done on Beta. Lets get real.

I was looking for dental insurance and found the Alpha Dental Plan based out of Colorado. They are very affordable and provide good discounts on dental services. You have to see a dentist in their network but they have a lot to choose from in Denver where I live. I signed up online and made an appointment to see my dentist shortly after. They say you don't have to wait to see the dentist once you sign up and I had no problem making an appointment. Dentist was great although I had a few cavities. Gotta cut down on the candy! Overall great experience and no problems.
