Mr Chen's has amazing service and food. They do not deliver, but take out is fast which is good. My family and I go there once a week for the last few years. We found them in the Yellow Pages, and we are glad we did. Full bar too, we love it!

this restaurant is pretty good their fried rice is the great. i highly recommend it. Picture menus are a plus. good serving sizes, prices, and service. Would eat there again.

Awesome Chinese Food in West Delray Beach! My family and I have been going to Mr. Chen's Hunan Palace for years. We have always enjoyed the food, the experience, and the service. This business has been here for 30 years and has always been a great place that is affordable and delicious.

A rare find amongst the numerous Chinese restaurants, family owned and operated since 1986. One walks through the doors, flanked by dragons on each end, and is greeted by lively contemporary Chinese music. The central salt water fish tank is always an endless delight for young children. One can choose between dinning in or carry out;delivery is not available.



The menu caters to all sorts of palates featuring a variety of foods from the sizzling hot plate to the exotic Double Pan Fried Noodles. Almost everything can be made to suit your needs so don't be shy in stating how you want your meal to be cooked.



Sit down at the bar and enjoy an alcoholic drink or smoothie all while watching the game on the flat screen TV.



The staff is friendly and the service is great (a lot of customers are long term and have a personal preference for a particular server).



One insider's tip is that the Early Bird lasts all night which includes your choice of soup, egg roll/chicken wings, entrée, rice (Fried, Steamed, or Brown), and ice cream; all for a very reasonable price that will leave you with tomorrow's lunch and a full wallet.



Currently, there is a promotional offer for a free lunch after your 6th in celebration of their anniversary.



A note to the wise, the days spanning from Christmas and New Years is the restaurant's busiest days with the place packed (especially between the times of 6-7)and the wait time going upwards to an hour. Walk-ins are accepted but reservations are strongly recommended if you don't want a longer waiting time. From experience, the waiting time for dinning in and take out during those days are approximately the same. On these special occasions Holiday menus are used and the desert features an almond cookies and an orange slice for each guest not to mention the usual fortune cookie.



Contrary to this website, Mr. Chen's accepts all major credit cards not just AMEX and MC. A website is currently under construction which will showcase a multitude of pictures of their dishes.
