Yahara Elementary School enrolls more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade four and is administered by the DeForest Area School District. Its academic curriculum includes reading, mathematics, social studies and science. The school has a parent-teacher association that organizes a variety of fundraising activities to support school programs. Its library has a large collection of educational resources, including books, newspapers and games. In addition, the school organizes a variety of extracurricular activities, such as musical performances, fine arts night, talent shows, orchestra and music field trips.
