My boyfriend and I bought the snorkeling package at a discounted rate on Groupon which included the dive at 2 sites and all the rental gear. It was my first time snorkeling and I was a little anxious to get in the water and was unsure on how to use my snorkel gear; however, my experience was awesome! We first arrived at the dive shop and they quickly gave us the snorkel gear (mask, snorkel, fins) and directed us to the where the boat was docked. We were helped onto the boat and met the captains Martha and Scott and the divemaster George. We visited the two sites and although there were many others on the trip with us, the attention from the two captains and the divemaster felt very personalized. They taught me how to use the gear and gave me tips on how to dive deeper. Make sure to take cash to tip the divemaster! The crew was so nice and attentive that I believe it made our trip even better. I usually never take the time to write reviews, but these guys deserve all the best reviews!!

I traveled to South Florida from Alaska looking forward to doing some scuba diving with Dixie Divers but due to an ear problem I was unable to do the diving I had already paid for. Everyone, including the owner was very patient with me while I tried unsuccessfully to get my medical release faxed from my doctor's office in time to do the scuba diving. When it was obvious that was not going to happen they offered for me and my girlfriend to go snorkeling instead. We had a great time and ended up with a credit. After the amazing snorkeling adventure they offered to take us scuba diving in their private pool so that we could get some basic skills and see if we liked it. I really feel like everyone at Dixie Divers went out of their way to make sure we had a great time and we really did. We are planning on going back to Florida and Dixie Divers will be on our list of to dos.

As a 13-year diver, I HIGHLY recommend Dixie Divers for ANY diving experience, whether you wish to learn scuba or are a seasoned veteran. The staff at the shop and crew of the Lady-Go-Diver are extremely competent and professional. They make sure that every diver on board gets the attention they need to have a completely enjoyable dive experience. They visit a wide variety of dive sites, so whether you are a snorkeler, a beginning or advanced diver, there is something for you. Captain Scott is incredibly friendly and experienced, and will entertain you with his in-depth local knowledge and stories. Take the plunge! Go with Dixie Divers!

Myself, my husband and two sons just finished the open water dive course. We learned alot and are extremely glad we chose dixie divers. Our instructors were Keith and Sylvio, so glad we had these guys as our instructors, we felt confidant in their knowledge and had a good time with them.

The experience was def more than I expected. The staff in the store was very nice. And the captain and crew on the boat were fun, helpful, and knowledgeable. We stopped at 2 spots and enjoyed both of them. Would def do it again and bring some other family and friends.

As a brand new diver my experience with Dixie Divers was wonderful. The instructors are patient and extremely knowledgable. It was not only a highlight of my vacation, but a life-pivotal and memorable experience. I HIGHLY recommend and suggest their guidance and expertise. I was able to get certified in a reasonable amount of time and with the care and attention that an inexperienced diver needs to successfully complete training. An incredible week I shall not forget. Hoping to get back soon.

Great place, awsome instructors and staff, and they always have everything I need. Dixie Divers will be my dive shop for many years to come.

There is a very chaotic feeling all the time with these guys. The store is very nice with lots of variety, but most items do not have prices requiring you to ask for help for everything, and feeling pressured to buy. The high pressure sales tactics and the nickel and dime approach make it very clear the owner of the shop is very driven by making a dollar. The guys on the boat are very nice, but again there is a much unplanned feeling about the destinations and dive types. I would go on the boat, but will stay out of the shop (they even make you take the rented tanks to and from the shop to the boat for planned dives). There is also an obvious adversarial relationship between the boar crew and the dive shop.
