The machines scratched the entire top from the roof of my trunk. I know they're not responsible but when I tried to just notify the manager they brushed it off. At least adjust the machines or something to prevent it from causing serious damage to someone else's

Damaged my car bad

On Saturday October 17, 2015, I stopped by Zoom Express Car Wash, 3945 Flat Shoals Parkway, in Decatur, Georgia for my very first car wash since purchasing my 2013 Dodge Charger July 2015. It was a beautiful day and since I had just graduated from college a week prior I now had the time to stop off and treat my new car to a much needed bath. I proceeded through the terminal as instructed by the attendant; however while going through I heard and felt something that sounded as if something bumped my car. When the wash was over, I immediately proceeded to the vacuum area to inspect my vehicle only to find that it had been horribly scratched practically all over the front and back hoods, and noticeably scuffed scruff on the roof (hence the noise I heard during the wash). I immediately spoke to Andrew, one of the attendants washing cars. He examined my car and said, “I can get the manager but he’s just going to say there is nothing he can do about it.” I said, “Ok, please get him.” Moments later the manager Mr. Jimmy Bullock approaches and ask “what’s the problem?”, I explained to him that I had just recently purchased my vehicle and this was the first time I have ever washed her and immediately began pointing out the scratches that were very visible amidst the dirt that was still present even after going through the wash. His immediate response was “what if I told you there is nothing in the wash that can do this?” to which I immediately responded “what if we have to see if that is true legally.” His then responded, “Well, that’s fine”. I then asked him for contact information and advised him that I would be pursuing reimbursement of damages legally. He went to his office and came back with a business card. I proceeded to examine my car more and began taking pictures (6 total). It dawned on me that I paid with my credit card and didn’t get a receipt so I went over to the office to ask for one, only to find Mr. Bullock inside the wash tinkering with the machine and wash arms. The service attendant called his name a few times because he didn’t see me standing there watching him attempt to fix whatever had damaged my car. Finally he looked up and came over to the office where I then requested a copy of the receipt. As I walked away, I advised two other black vehicle owners that were in line to get a wash to examine their vehicle prior to going in so that they would know if there were damages coming out. When Mr. Bulloch observed me doing so he came over and told one driver, “man, pay no attention to her, that car was like that when she came up here.” I was so upset and needless to say regretful of stopping at this business that I didn’t even bother using the free vacuuming service. Upset for one that my new car was now ruined and two that the company responsible for it, has someone in charge that took no responsibility, made it obvious that they clearly didn’t care that they were at fault, and practically accused me of lying. I plan to file a formal complaint with the BBB, the Governor’s Office of Consumer Affairs, as well as reach out to the regulating agency here in Georgia. It’s just not right for these companies to get away with damaging people’s property.

WORSE SERVICE EVER

VISTED YOUR COMPANY ON SATURDAY 17 JANUARY 2015 WORST EXPERIENCE EVER...NONE OF YOUR VACUUMS WORKED...BUT WHEN WE FOUND ONE ...HERE COMES ONE OF YOUR WORKERS TELLING MY SON AND I THAT WE HAD TO GIVE IT TO HIM WHILE WE WERE STILL USING IT...I COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EARS...IM A PAYING CUSTOMER I CANT BELIEVE THIS GUY APPROACHED MY SON AS IF HE WERE GOING TO TAKE IT SO MY SON GAVE IT TO HIM...WHAT A BIG MISTAKE I LOST IT THIS GUY WAS SO RUDE TO THE POINT THAT I FEARED FOR MY SON AND MYSELF I COULDN'T BELIEVE A WIRKER WOULD ACT SO UNPROFESSIONAL SCREAMING I TAUGHT MAYBE HE WAS ON DRUGS I WOULD NEVER USE THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN THAT COULD HAVE TURNED OUT TO BE A VERY BAD ALTERCATION THANK GOD IT WASNT~
