Your relationship with the company you choose is as important as the quality of the product you purchase. We appreciate your interest and look forward to doing an excellent job for you. Custom Made Panels Our shutters are custom made to fit your windows. We do not cut down pre-made panels to fit your windows. Custom Finishing The ShutterWorks will custom paint or stain your shutters to your specifications. We use a five coat paint finishing process. Our shutter finishing team performs quality control inspections and hand sanding between each coat. We will use oil base or lacquer base paint according to your specifications. Solid Poplar Wood Our painted shutters are made of solid poplar wood panels not finger-jointed wood or PVC. The stained shutters are made of either solid stain grade poplar or solid stain grade pine wood depending on the wood that we are matching. Tension of Louvers and Sound Panel Structure The shutters are made with a sound structure and Teflon tennons with tension springs. Teflon will not squeak like wood tennons. The frames are glued and dowelled together similar to wood furniture, not just quickly screwed together. The pieces of the shutter are specially cut to improve the strength of the shutter. The tension of the louvers is guaranteed for life. Professional Inside Mount Installation The ShutterWorks does not use subcontractors. Our installers have been with The ShutterWorks for 17 years. Each installer will treat your home and your shutters with the utmost care. The ShutterWorks installs the shutters on the inside of your window on hanging strips. This allows us to install on most any depth window, even on some tilt out windows. An inside mount installation will provide maximum light and not hide existing moulding. Final installation procedures will be discussed on site after our experts analyze the installation area.
