General Info
Montgomery County Engineer s Office maintains and improves local roadway network of Montgomery County in Ohio. The office s responsibilities include repair, replacement and improvement of more than 300 miles of county roads and over 500 bridges. It undertakes snow and ice control during the winter months. Montgomery County Engineer s Office also reviews and approves new survey descriptions and plats. The office s operations division is additionally responsible for the maintenance and replacement of traffic control devices, such as signs and pavement striping on county roads. Montgomery County Engineer s Office maintains traffic accident records. The office reviews and approves new subdivision plans. It performs annual structural inspections of county bridges and reports results to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
