The Legal Aid of Western Ohio is a nonprofit, regional law firm that assists low-income individuals and groups in resolving civil matters. The firm, also known as LAWO, maintains offices in Dayton, Defiance, Fremont, Lima, Mansfield, Sandusky, Springfield and Toledo in Ohio. It serves clients in northwestern and west-central Ohio. The Legal Aid of Western Ohio offers a range legal advice, negotiation, litigation and community education services. The firm s special projects serve migrant farmworkers and the victims of domestic violence. In addition, it handles landlord and tenant problems. The Legal Aid of Western Ohio s Medical Legal Partnership for Children (MLPC) addresses the health and well-being of vulnerable children and families in Lucas County in Ohio.
