First, I ordered the flowers about a week before I wanted them delivered through 1-800-flowers. That should have been plenty of time for the florist to look at the picture of the arrangement I purchased and obtain the correct flowers. That is apparently not what happened though. They delivered the flowers at the correct time and address but the arrangement wasnt correct. I had these delivered to my brothers house so he could deliver them to my mother in a nursing home. Did I mention that my mother is dying from cancer and this will undoubtedly be her last mothers day? Well, it is. I immediately contacted 800-flowers and lodged a complaint. I was assured that the correct arrangement would be delivered on mothers day in time for my brother to drop them off to mom. After no delivery I called 800-flowers again and found out that the florist says they couldnt be delivered until Tuesday and they wanted the original arrangement back. I pointed out to 800-flowers that I already gave them to my mother because thanks to an incompetent florist I had nothing else to give her. The florist couldnt deliver after 5 oclock on Tuesday and no one was home before 5 oclock so, you guessed it, they didnt deliver the flowers. At this point I contacted the florist,Floral Moments, directly and asked them to deliver the flowers Wednesday to the nursing home. Again, the florist screwed that one up and ended up delivering them to my brothers house this time. I again called the florist and told them that since someone in my family had possession of the flowers to just forget trying to fix the mess. My mother finally got the correct arrangement, sort of, delivered today by my brother. Of course the florist still hasnt looked at the picture and realized that what I ordered had about a dozen roses and not the 4-6 roses my mother could find. I feel that I have been cheated in this whole sordid mess. Floral Moments made no attempt to find out why the first order was incorrect and has done a poor job throughout what should have been a simple process. On top of everything else when I called and talked to one of the workers at the florist on Wednesday I was assured that the owner would call me on Thursday. Nope, I guess Cathy, the owner doesn't care about customer satisfaction.
