South View Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes instruction in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school additionally offers programs in unified arts, music, keyboarding, computer science and physical education. South View Middle School supports several organizations that include the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) and student council, as well as band, orchestra, chess, drama, yearbook and choir clubs. It employs guidance counselors who provide before- and after-school counseling services for various academic and social concerns. The school s athletics department offers a variety of sports activities, such as baseball, cross country, volleyball, basketball, softball, and track and field.
